2. Muhammad Ali Mosque

The Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque as it’s also known as is located in the Citadel of Cairo. This great mosque was commissioned by Muhammad Ali and built between 1830 and 1848. The Mosque of Muhammad Ali was the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century. You can see the beautiful twin minarets of this mosque from many parts of Cairo. 3. The Egyptian Museum

Located at the North side of the famous Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum is also known as the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. This is a treasure vault of photo opportunities for your Instagram. The Hanging Church (Arabic: الكنيسة المعلقة‎ al Muʿallaqah) in old Cairo, dates back to the third century. The Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church) is one of the oldest churches in Egypt. Although photography is not allowed inside the church, photos of the beautiful architecture of the church building is a must for your Instagram feed. The Hanging Church is named because of its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Old Cairo.

This palace was built by Prince Muhammad Ali and the palace complex includes six structures.  There is a hunting museum belonging to the late King Farouk of Egypt, the prince’s residence and furnishings and an amazing garden.
